Let's begin.

The first-ever Regional Climbing Championship in the south of Portugal has come to an end, and what a competition it was! On March 22nd, the walls of ATV Escalada ( Torres Vedras ) witnessed an incredible display of talent, determination, and pure passion for the sport. A huge congratulations to FPME and ATV for organizing yet another outstanding event, proving once again their commitment to the growth of climbing in Portugal.

A special mention goes out to the routesetters, whose creativity brought to life magnificent boulders that pushed the athletes to their limits. Without their vision, this competition wouldn’t have had the same level of excitement and challenge. Their work is the foundation of every great event, and this one was no exception.

Of course, the true stars of the day were the athletes themselves. Without surprise, despite their small size, their performances were massive. They climbed with heart, battled through every move, and put on a heck of a show that left everyone speechless. The future of climbing is in their hands, and if this competition is anything to go by, we have a lot to look forward to as they continue to grow and develop.

A huge congratulations to the athletes who made it to the podium—your dedication and hard work paid off, and you truly deserve this recognition. But beyond the medals, every single competitor who stepped onto the wall deserves praise. It’s their passion and drive that keep this sport alive and thriving.

Now, with one final competition left in the south, we wait anxiously to see how this incredible journey will end. If the last events have shown us anything, it’s that the best is yet to come!
